1. Fill a pot 2/3 of the way with soil mix, and place pieces of the seed paper on top. Add more soil on top of the paper and tamp down gently on top.

3. Water the soil until it is evenly damp. The paper and the soil should be damp, but not swimming in water.

4. Place the planter in a sunny spot. Most lavender seeds will germinate in a couple of weeks, but some can take up to a month if there's not enough exposure to sun.

5. Water once every 2 days for the first week, and then scale back the watering after the first week to once every 3-4 days. After 2 weeks, you can water the lavender once every 10 days.

6. Enjoy watching your beautiful bed of lavender flowers bloom!
